M.I. High
British children's TV series
M.I. High is a British action television series produced by Kudos for CBBC and created by Keith Brumpton. The series focused on a team of undercover teenage spies working for the fictional British secret intelligence agency MI9 who had to balance their school life with their jobs as secret agents. The line-up of spies was altered between the show's seven series.
The series premiered on 8 January and originally ended on 21 March after five series, before being revived for a further two series that were broadcast between 7 January and 31 March
Premise
[edit]The series follows the adventures of secondary school pupils who work as undercover spies. The spies are led by an MI9 agent (first by Lenny Bicknall, later by Frank London) whose cover job is a school caretaker. The team must constantly save the world from domination by a variety of villains, whilst hiding their spy identities from their teachers and peers, and completing their school work. The identity of the overarching villains the Grand Master (Series 1–5) and the Mastermind (Series 6–7) remains a mystery within the show.

With a headquarters hidden in a bunker below their school, the team foil the plans of S.K.U.L (a Nebulous Evil Organisation who plans to take over the world), and every other baddie that they happen to come across.
If this sounds at least a little familiar, it's because the show is created by the same people who brought you Spooks, and is essentially a Lighter and Softer version of that show, but no less dramatic.

This show contains examples of
- Accidental Athlete: At the end of one episode, set during sports day, a frustrated student grabs the nearest object and hurls it in frustration. Said object happens to be a discus and the throw just happens to set a national record.
- Action Girl:
- Although Blane was the hired muscle in Series 1 and 2, both Daisy and Rose had Action Girl moments.
- Carrie Stewart filled this role from Series 3 to 7.
- Violet Webb in the Series 2 episode "the Others".
- Zoe in Series 6 and 7, along with her clone K

- Kenneth Flatley , Saint Hopes/Saint Hearts rektor och med i alla säsonger. Han är omedveten om det spionage tillsammans med mycket annat som händer i skolan. Han är den enda rollfiguren som varit med i alla 7 säsongerna. I säsong 6 när Mr Flatley blir inlåst tror han att Stella har en god relation med Frank.
- Frank London, Saint Hopes och Guldhjärtats vaktmästare samt MI High:s instruktör, förekommer i säsong 3,4,5,6 och 7. Han är en MI9-agent som spelar Saint Heart och Saint Hopes vaktmästare. Frank är också fadersgestalt för alla sina agenter, men speciellt för Oscar Cole och Zoe. För de har inga föräldrar. Han spelas av Jonny Freeman och har varit tillsammans med Stella och de har en fortsatt speciell relation.
