In recent years, Nashville has become known for its food scene, almost as much as its nonstop live music. The city has drawn in renowned chefs, from all over the world, to put their mark on the culinary scene, with diverse menus, inspired locally and globally.
While there are by now hundreds of restaurants, for every palate and price point, we picked ten of our favorites to enjoy in
1. Luogo
It’s hard to imagine any restaurant list we make without Luogo being at the top. It’s just that good. From the impeccable service to the seasonal menu, featuring fresh, in-season ingredients, to the hand-crafted unique cocktails, dining at Luogo is an experience like nothing else in Nashville. Try the generously-sized Arancini del Luogo or Potato and Zucchini Chips to begin, enjoy their Pappardelle with Duck Ragu or Rigatoni Bolognese for the main course, and end the night with made-to-order Bombolini. And definitely don’t skip their craft cocktails, like an Artico Old Fashioned or a Northern Lights Daiquiri.

Nashville continues to grow, and the restaurant scene is keeping pace. That's why, each year we dine at dozens, if not hundreds, of restaurants.
In our effort to find the best of the best during countless hours of research, we've identified a few key trends. For one, some of Nashville's older restaurants just keep getting better and better. Some of the newest players have some real chops, too.
We’re also developing an even more robust international food scene. We have Indian restaurants pushing the boundaries, an Egyptian restaurant that keeps getting better and Kurdish restaurants offering some of the best food and hospitality in the city. We're also drawing the attention of some boutique chains, including Fogo de Chão, scheduled to open in an 8,square-foot space in Nashville Yards in
Nashville’s increasingly competitive dining scene is growing so quickly that top dining cities are taking notice. Recently, the New York Times published its own version of Nashville’s top 25 restaurants, which contained a striking number of establishments we’ve honored in past lists. Good food, it appears, is universal.

Nashville isn't just about great music; it's also a foodie's paradise. From Southern comfort food to cutting-edge cuisine, here are 16 must-visit restaurants in Music City that live up to their stellar reputations.
1. Edley's Bar-B-Que
If you’re in Nashville craving barbecue, Edley’s Bar-B-Que is the place to be. Consistently voted the best in town, it’s a favorite for locals and visitors alike.
As soon as you step in, the smoky aroma of slow-cooked meats hits you. The friendly staff and cozy vibe make you feel right at home. The ribs here are unbeatable—smoked, tender, and falling off the bone. Skip the Brentwood location and head to the one on 12th Avenue S for the best experience.
I tried the catfish, coleslaw, grits, and brisket. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth good. Their banana pudding is a must-try, thick and creamy like cake. Fast service makes it easy to grab a quick bite, with highlights like fried ribs, pork sandwiches, and baby back ribs.
Don't miss their famous Bushwacker cocktail, a year-round favorite. With great food, fair prices, and a relaxed atmosphere, Edley’s is a must-visit. Even from miles away, I’m already planning my next trip back.
